Jamaica fall four places, Belgium moves to number one for first time

Jamaica's senior football team fell four places to number 61 according to the latest FIFA World football rankings.

The Reggae Boyz are the second ranked Caribbean team in CONCACAF behind Trinidad and Tobago were awarded the spot after climbing five places to number 54.

Meanwhile, Belgium has moved up to number one spot in the FIFA rankings for the first time.

Despite only reaching the World Cup quarter finals last year, Belgium rose two places after two wins in European Championship qualifying matches.

World Cup champion Germany is number two, just ahead of Argentina, which fell two places in a top 20 dominated by European and South American teams. Portugal is number four and Copa America champion, Chile if fifth.

Mexico is the top CONCACAF team at number 23, while Algeria is Africa's best at number 25 and Iran is Asia's top team at number 43.
